Beautiful snow pictures reveal Britain has turned into white wonderland

It’s something truly magical about walking in a winter wonderland that almost makes you forget how bloody cold it is.

Winter has well and truly arrived and while snow has settled in some parts of the UK already, it’s just getting colder and we’re facing ‘very significant snowfall’ this week, according to the Met Office.

While today’s yellow weather warnings could potentially mean school closures, travel chaos or even hypothermia, there’s no denying that snow and ice is pretty to look at.

If you’re not one of the lucky ones who can just pop outside and play in the snow, Metro.co.uk invites you to cuddle up with a cup of hot chocolate and enjoy these beautiful snow pictures.
