Britain’s youngest MP for 350 years “hates” Parliament and might stand down at the next election because too often politics is “just a waste of time”.

The SNP’s Mhairi Black, 22, said Westminster was a “depressing” place where she has to work with “people you find quite troubling”.

Ms Black, who was 20 when she was elected as MP for Paisley and Renfrewshire South, was hailed as a breath of fresh air who could relate to a different generation when she entered the Commons in 2105.
