He says he wants to become a delivery guy even when he grows up.

A few days ago the picture of an 8-year-old Chinese boy, now called ‘Ice Boy’ went viral on the social media. The boy who had his hair and eyebrows covered in frost after walking 4 kilometer to school in -9 degrees stirred the debate of poverty on the internet and millions of people raised funds to help the little boy. Now, the picture of the youngest delivery boy is going viral on the Chinese social media platform. The story of this 7-year-old migrant child named Xiao Chang Jiang who works as an express delivery boy in China’s Qingdao city was first shared by Chinese video sharing platform, PearVideo.

According to reports the boy’s father had passed away due to an illness and his mother remarried, abandoning the child.

The little boy now lives with his father’s ex-colleague whom he calls ‘uncle’. Initially he helped uncle in delivering packages and now he is so adept at the job that he is now delivering the packages by himself.

He delivers around 30 packets in a day and has become so popular that people refer to him as a mini celebrity. The little boy said that he is so happy doing this job that he wants to be a delivery guy even after he grows up.

Chang’s story is doing the rounds on social media after his picture was shared by a man named Wang Qingwei who happens to be the Director of Qingdao Chess Association.

He took pictures of the little boy and shared them on social media and wrote how he was surprised to see a young Chang deliver him the package with some difficulty.

Wang saw that the boy’s hands were red due to the cold so he asked him to rest at his home for a while. He also gave him a chess set as a gift and asked him to come again to learn how to play chess.

After his story broke the internet, the local authorities have sent him to a welfare association where he recently celebrated his 7th birthday- the first birthday celebration of his life.

A search for his mother has also been started. In the mean time Chang will be living at the Welfare Association and they will look after him and his schooling.
