And while it may seem like a men’s business, there is a woman Kung-Fu teacher in China who is winning the internet with her stunning physique, style and her skills. 31-year-old Ye Yongxiang is the sixth generation in heir to Yang style Tai Chi that is one of the most popular forms of martial arts in China. The 5.2 feet tall woman is now popularly called “The hottest Kung Fu fighter in China”. She has also appeared on several fashion magazines around the world because of her physique and her beauty.
Born in Shanghai, she started learning Tai Chi boxing when she was only 3. She started her initial training under her mother, who is also a martial arts expert.
As a kid, Ye would wield 2m long bamboo rods. Not to ignore that a bamboo rod is a heavy object to hold for a child.
In 2004 she joined the Shanghai Sports Academy. And after four years of training she started teaching Tai Chi to others.
At the International Martial Arts Festival held in Hong Kong in 2014, Ye won three gold medals- one in Tai Chi Boxing, another in Tai Chi Blade and the last one in Tai Chi Sword.
Ye has more than 1 lakh followers on the Chinese social media platform Weibo.
She frequently posts pictures of herself wielding blades, rods and swords for her fans.
Ye is young, elegant and fashionable but there is a bad news for all her fans. Ye is engaged and she plans to move to London in 2018 to marry her British fiance.
She has completed her studies in humanities from the Queen Mary University in London.
