Responding to the #MeToo hashtag initiated by actor Alyssa Milano following the numerous charges of sexual assault against Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, comedian Mallika Dua has opened up about abuse she suffered as a child.
In her post, Mallika talked about being molested at the age of seven. She wrote that her mother drove the car as she was being molested in the back seat. She did not reveal the anything about the culprit.
“Me too … in my own car. My mother was driving while he sat at the back with his hand under my skirt the whole time. I was 7. My sister was 11. His hands went everywhere inside my skirt and on my sister’s back. My father who was in a different car dislocated the bastard’s jaw with his bare hands later that night,” she wrote Monday afternoon.
