Ryan Cherwinski filmed groping waitress who threw him to the ground claims it was an accident
A man has been arrested after he was filmed touching a waitress’s backside as he walked past her before she threw him to the ground.
Ryan Cherwinski – who was on a date night with the mother of his twins – claims it was an accident saying he was trying to get server Emelia Holden, 21, to move out of his way. However, he’s now facing sexual assault claims after the security footage from Vinnie Van Go-Go’s pizzeria was released.

He claimed that he was asking her to move out of his way as he left the restaurant
It shows Emelia grabbing Cherwinski, who has been in a relationship with his girlfriend for 11 years, by the collar and slamming him into the wall. Savannah police charged 31-year-old Ryan Cherwinski of Palm Bay, Florida, with a misdemeanor count of sexual battery.
Restaurant manager Rob Gitten said ‘we’re all proud’ of her. Cherwinski’s attorney, Tina Marie Hesse, declined to comment. Recalling the June 30 incident, Holden said: ‘I just did what I felt was best. I took the guy down and had my co-workers call the police. ‘As soon as the cops saw the CCTV footage, they immediately arrested the man. He sat in jail until Monday so in my opinion, he got what he deserved.’

She added: ‘All that I want from my experience is for women to know that it’s okay to stand up for yourself. ‘You have every right to wear what you want and you most certainly have every right to defend yourself.’
Emelia’s courageous actions have since gone viral online, and she later wrote on Facebook: ‘What’s done is done, he got what he deserved and I’m just trying to live my life.’
