Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of trying to “spread hatred” and vowed not to let Uttar Pradesh become a state of hatred.
He also asked the Prime Minister to waive farmers’ loans since he (Modi) boasts of a “56-inch chest”.
Addressing an election rally in Maharajganj, the Congress leader alleged that Modi was trying to “spread hatred”. He, however, did not elaborate.
“Modi only makes promises, but we will work. The promise of giving employment to the youth has failed,” Rahul said.
He said Modi should ensure jobs to the youth, failing which “they will send him packing to Gujarat (in 2019)”.
