Meet the teenage contortionist who has stunned locals with his ability to rotate his shoulders 360 degrees and spin his neck around. Yash Shah has a ridiculously flexible body that he can even squeeze through a tennis racket.
His body can twist by 180 degrees and his hands and legs can do the full 360. Yash has been dubbed ‘rubber boy’ by locals in his hometown of Surat in the western Indian state of Gujarat.

The software engineering student boasted: ‘I have an extremely flexible body. ‘I’m capable of rotating my head by 180 degree and look backwards. I can rotate both my hands and legs by 360 degrees and can move my shoulders at any angle.
‘I can rotate my torso by 180 degrees. Also, I can I can bend my fingers backwards up to 180 degrees.’ The 19-year-old practices for at least three hours per day and says his inspiration is American contortionist Daniel Browning Smith.
Yash said: ‘I started practicing contortion skills after watching his videos on YouTube. I started following him the moment I saw his acts.

‘I never had any coach to help me practise. I learnt everything on my own while watching videos from Youtube. ‘I have never had any injury while performing these acts.
I know how to control my body and protect myself from any injury.’ His mother Kamini Vrajesh Shah says his son’s flexibility is God’s gift.
‘I feel proud of my son that he is different from others. I feel proud that unlike others he can turn his body in any direction,’ she said. Yash now has his eyes on the Guinness Book of Records.
