Sexual harassment: Another FIR against TVF founder-CEO Arunabh Kumar

A woman posted an anonymous blog earlier this month alleging sexual harassment by Kumar when she worked at TVF between 2014 and 2016.

A day after the Mumbai Police registered an FIR against Arunabh Kumar, the CEO and founder of web entertainment firm ‘The Viral Fever’ (TVF) for alleged sexual harassment against unknown women, a second girl approached police today.

The second FIR was registered against him under Section 354 of IPC at Versova police station today.
According to police sources, the woman was called by Kumar for interview at his Versova office. He took the woman inside his cabin where he allegedly molested her.

“The woman was molested inside the cabin by Arunabh Kumar. She immediately left from his cabin and later never met him. We have registered FIR under section 354 of IPC,” police said.

They said the woman didn’t knew that FIR can even be filed in such cases. Recently when she heard about the first FIR against Arunab Kumar yesterday she approached police.

There has been a series of allegation against Kumar in the last few days. A woman posted an anonymous blog earlier this month alleging sexual harassment by Kumar when she worked at TVF between 2014 and 2016. The post took the social media by storm. Then came similar allegations from other women.

TVF denied all the allegations and said it would “leave no stone unturned to find the author of the article and bring them to severe justice for making such false allegations.”
