A woman screamed for help as she was allegedly sexually assaulted in front of her toddler while walking down a road.

Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to after linking two sexual offences that took place within 10 days of each other in Heeley, Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

A 33-year-old woman was in a park with her child when a man shouted at them and allegedly exposed himself at around 6pm on May 7, Examiner Live reports.

Just over a week later on May 17, a 40-year-old woman was reportedly sexually assaulted by a man in Midhill Crescent at around 4.30pm.

When she screamed the assailant ran off and given the close proximity of the reports, South Yorkshire Police are treating the matters as linked with an investigation now underway.

“I know there’s a lot of speculation circulating on social media and I’d urge anyone who has information to contact my team directly, so that we can progress this investigation quickly.
