A woman allegedly sent a photo of herself performing a sex act on another man to her ex-boyfriend, who stabbed her new lover to death.
Sarah Bramley is accused of inviting David Saunders to attack Michael Lawson last July.
Saunders, 33, stabbed 34-year-old Mr Lawson once with a kitchen knife in Geneva Road, Darlington. The victim died from the wound and Saunders was jailed for 22 and a half years in December after he admitted murder.
Bramley, 29, is now due to appear at Teesside Crown Court next month on incitement-related charges, the Northern Echo reported.

It is believed the former law student of Langdale Road, Darlington, was questioned after she returned to Britain from Australia. She has been in Australia since Mr Lawson’s death, it is understood.
Bramley is charged with assisting the commission of an offence. Court papers state that she allegedly ‘sent David Saunders a photograph of her with another male, advised him of the whereabouts of that other male and invited David Saunders over to assault said other male’.
