Jason Bittner is accused of breaking his daughter’s ribs in 28 places and leaving her with brain damage because he wanted a son
Jason Bittner, 33, is accused of inflicting horrendous abuse on the three month old girl because of her gender, and because she ‘fussed’, according to prosecutors.
Chiropractor Bittner is said to have attacked the little girl at his Cincinnati home in February. The severity of the alleged assault saw her rushed to intensive care, where medics found 28 rib fractures at various stages of healing. They dismissed claims the injuries were the result of an accident, and contacted police.
The chiropractor claimed he was ‘crazy’ about his young daughters – and Jesus Christ – on his company’s website

According to Fox 19, Prosecutor David Fornshell told A Warren County Court Tuesday: ‘He was frankly resentful of that fact and also was very intolerant of the fact that she fussed.
‘Mr. Bittner is a medical professional. ‘By all accounts he’s a member of good standing in the community.
‘He’s active in his church and I think people think that people like that are incapable of committing acts of child abuse or even domestic violence and those kind of situations.
But unfortunately those types of acts are committed by all manner of people.’
The little girl has since been released from hospital, while her father was indicted by a grand jury last week on felonious assault and child endangerment charges.
Bittner, who runs a clinic with his wife Casey says on his website bio: ‘I love my wife Casey and I’m crazy about my daughters, Emily and Aimee. ‘But my first and greatest love is Jesus Christ. I am most proud of my faith in him.’ He will appear before a court again Wednesday.
